am o rugaminte .. am acnee de vreo 4 luni, sunt ca niste cosuri multe si foarte miciin zona gurei si pe barbie. am fost la dermato si mia dat tratament retin a si niste pastle isoprinosine si vreau sa zic ca am inceput sa ma cojesc pe toata fata ( am tenul uscat ) si sa arat mult mai rau acum imi este rusine si sa merg la scoala nici cu prietenul nu ma mai pot vedea . stiu ca cu retin a doar peste 2 3 luni o sa scap probabil dar ce ma fac 2 3 luni nu o sa mai merg la scoala si nu o sa mai ies afara doar pt un tratament ? asa ca as vrea sa stiu daca e vreo modalitate in care pot scapa de acnee f rapid sau daca nu e as vrea sa stiu o crema care sa nu ma irite sau sami faca mai rau adica as vrea sa nu se observe ca fac tratament.
te rog sa ma ajuti !!

Interesting that gender specific would be mentioned. I thought it was just a matter of skin types, sensitivity and complexion as to the kind of acne products one might use whether it be for male or female.

I can’t believe I found this article, I have been doing research on gender and acne treatments. I found this product called CTRL and it is gender specific like you mentioned. This product contains Salicylic Acid, and is specfically designed to have two different treatment options; one for men and another for women.

Nowhere in the description of the product does it mention anything about gender. It is becoming widely acknowledged that gender can play a major role in acne and acne treatment.

Is this treatment gender specific? Does anybody know of any?

I would prefer one that doesn’t contain benzoyl peroxide and especially not parabens, as they have been linked to cancer.
