I used to have medicore acne on my face when I was a teenager (not too long ago). I’m now 22 years old and I get acne only occasionally; it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t bother me. What does bother me though are the bumps that have persisted through my teenage years and are still on my face . On my forehead and on nose especially, there are small bumps (where my old acne used to be) that have been there for years and just won’t go away. What can I do?
I’m thinking it’s dirty pores, if it is, how long does it take to clean the pores and what should i use? Is it a good idea to “pop” the bumps so I can clean the pores more quickly, and “deflate” the bumps?

They aren’t dirty pores. They are most likely scars from where acne was but cleared up, but still left the pore dead. You can try a scar treatment ointment, like Mederma.
PS. NEVER pop your pimples! Bad bad bad! It’ll leave you with worse scars!
i need the answer to this one. i have the bumps too. i asked my dermatologist how to get rid of them and she said they were scars from my acne and it was because i was picking on them. i can’t pick them. im not sure what you can do. ask your dermatolagist and PLEASE post your answers.
I had the exact sam problem!! but, i use Clean & Clear deep action -cream clenser… It works great…It’s oil-free and after you rinse it off your face.. be sure to to put lotion on your face.. I’m only 15 and i use this every day so when you get those acne bumps every once in a while use this it works great i promise…i dont exactly remember how much it cost but, i think is so worth paying for!!(i hope this helps)
